Words from our guests

This is such a beautiful cottage! We were in awe and speechless from the moment we walked inside. We went down the road and had ice cream for dinner 🙂 We all slept very well and enjoyed the “clip-clop, clip-clop” of horses passing by. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay! We had a great time!

About Winesburg Ohio

Winesburg, originally settled in the 19th century, sits atop a hill in the Northeastern area of Holmes County Ohio. Time passes slowly in this quaint little town, whose Main Street captures what the American Mid-west felt like prior to the introduction of strip malls and neon lights. It’s Americana at its finest. Buildings built with stone, logs, and decorative Victorian accents are the norm here, as are the slow clip-clop of Amish Buggies as they travel through town. It’s an ideal location for history lovers or those seeking a peaceful place from which to launch their exploration of Ohio’s Amish Country.
